六、功德與名譽是第一生命
1 Most people value wealth as the primary thing of life. Seekers of the Dao need to have the correct understanding first and foremost: merits and honor are the primary things of life.
1 一般人視錢財為第一生命。修道的人首先要修正觀念，功德、名譽才是第一生命。
2 To accumulate one’s merits and virtues means building up external merits and accumulate hidden virtues. These are much more important than wealth.
2 培功立德就是培外功、積陰德，比錢財更重要。
