The Twenty Words are guidelines for human conduct, and they are also a practice of daily cultivation for fellow-strivers under The Lord of Universe Church. Anyone can pay homage to them and use them for prayer, whether at home or in houses of worship. Recite them several tens of times or a few hundred times each morning and evening, seeking inner illumination. Reinforce this by putting them in action. The nurturing of your perfect ch’i will call forth sustaining forces by spiritual beings who watch over the Twenty Words, to eliminate your personal karmic hindrances and dispel your family’s yin spirits and noxious ch’i. After reciting the Twenty Words fifty or a hundred times, recite a transfer of merit to a large entity, such as the world or your country, or to something small like an individual. Go according to the situation.
