(Harmony): The true manifestation of the universe as it accords with Heaven's law is harmony. Broadly speaking, if celestial bodies lose harmony, confusion and catastrophe will occur. If matter and Nature lose harmony, there will be no growth. If body and soul lose harmony, the person will die. If the mind loses harmony, hatred will arise. If people lose harmony among themselves, there will be arguments and lawsuits. If the social order loses harmony, there will be unrest and disturbances. If nations lose harmony there will be wars, and world peace cannot he secured. If science and philosophy lose harmony, seeking truth becomes difficult. Therefore, the foundation of Heaven and earth, the basis for nation-building, and the Way of human life all depend on harmony.
